Odenigbo Ebuka David is certainly HiFL’s most talked about player post 2018 season. Since the strong, fast yet, noble striker emerged highest goal scorer and most valuable player at the maiden edition of the league, he has constantly been on the lips of sports enthusiasts and stakeholders around the country.
The HiFL 2018 may have been the golden platform that sprung Ebuka to limelight, but it certainly was not the first time the UAM Tiller’s forward, has proven his incredible prowess as a goal machine. At the 2017 Edition of the Nigerian University Games Association (NUGA) games, Ebuka scored a total of six goals to emerge highest goal scorer in the competition.
After being signed on by NPFL Giants Kano Pillars, in December 2018, the Markudi born striker has grown from strength to strength and has quickly blended into the very talented squad as a member of the starting line-up. His most recent participation at the NPFL super six tournament in Lagos where he scored 2 goals with the first being the fastest goal of the tournament is a testament to the fact that the HiFL Poster boy has so much in him yet to offer and we can’t wait to celebrate more of his feats.
When Ebuka is not on the pitch training or playing, he finds pleasure, watching movies for relaxation.
